Bursts Of Tooth Meditation With Mental Soccer
Help Ward Off Disease
My book Yin Ain't Yang, The Ancient Way To Better Health, reveals a tooth meditation with mental soccer exercise which helps promote longevity. Recent studies show how bursts of competition similar to the mental soccer exercise boosts testosterone levels in men leading to lower disposition to disease.
"Whereas men in the U.S. show a decline in testosterone as they age, and testosterone drops serve as a sentinel for age-related disease, Tsimane men maintain a stable amount of testosterone across their lifespans and show little incidence of obesity, heart disease and other illnesses linked with older age.
Despite lower circulating levels of testosterone under normal conditions, the forager-farmers do have something in common with U.S. men: short-term spikes of testosterone during competition." {http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/03/120327215556.htm}

"Even Frank Sinatra would be hard put to rival Sawicki when it comes to thoughts on lips and all they speak of. What he offers here is a company of quick reflections on lips and smiles and their many moods."-- Kirkus Indie |
Adding extracts from brown seaweed to a meal may reduce blood sugar spikes by about 14% and offer benefits from people at risk of type-2 diabetes, suggests a new study.
Dental X-rays Can Damage Oral Mucosa Cells
Advances in the study of the effect of dental x-rays on oral mucosa cells have shown that radiation exposure can induce DNA damage and cytotoxicity in these cells. Radiation did lead to other nuclear alterations closely related to cytotoxicity, including karyorrhexis, pyknosis, and karyolysis.
Sleep Apnea Treated With Didgeridoo
“…a player breathes in through the nose at the same time as pushing stored air out of the mouth using the tongue and cheeks... A skilled player can refill the air in their lungs, and with practice can keep a note playing for as long as desired... strengthening muscles in the upper airway, thus reducing their tendency to collapse during sleep.
If an instrument is not your thing, certain types of chanting and tone holding in singing can also use this technique. {http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circular_breathing} http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Didgeridoo
Eating Placenta May Be Good For Mom And Dad
The entire animal kingdom does it, but most humans become squeamish and pull their faces at the very notion. But now, scientists are suggesting that mothers—and perhaps even fathers—would benefit from eating parts of the placenta following child birth.
Eating the placenta provokes an increase in mother-child interaction, promotes hormone release that stimulates caring instincts, attenuates pain—in both sexes— and even increases the possibilities for future fertilization.
Teeth Can Transmit Electronic Messages
People who believe that their teeth are transmitting messages - perhaps from the CIA - through secret implants in their fillings can normally be dismissed as unbalanced. But Michael McAlpine of Princeton University, US, whose team is responsible for a remote chemical sensor, which really can transmit messages from the molars, is certainly not crazy.
The design's features like wireless control, flexibility and the non-toxic nature of graphene all mean this strategy has a 'bright future in transmitting information about the tooth decay bacteria on teeth.

Licorice Kills SARS, Flu And Other Lethal Viruses
They assessed the antiviral potential of ribavirin, 6-azauridine, pyrazofurin, mycophenolic acid, and glycyrrhizin against two clinical isolates of coronavirus (FFM-1 and FFM-2) from patients with SARS admitted to the clinical centre of Frankfurt University, Germany. Of all the compounds, glycyrrhizin was the most active in inhibiting replication of the SARS-associated virus. Our findings suggest that glycyrrhizin should be assessed for treatment of SARS.
Licorice’s potent antiviral properties are not limited to SARS-associated coronaviruses, but have also been studied in connection with another epidemic/pandemic capable and potentially lethal virus: influenza.
